Observation peak area

Headed up towards Observation peak with the intention of skiing the N. Glacier, but turned around about 3/4 of the way up. While skiing was good at treeline and below on faceted snow, it quickly deteriorated above treeline to breakable crust and then very wind-affected hardpack in the alpine.
