Easily spotted this recent slab avalanche from the highway today. After looking around more, I observed an extensive natural avalanche cycle that may have occurred sometime yesterday or within the last day or two. There are numerous crowns all along the west facing slopes from Kletting Peak to Hayden Peak. None of these are too deep, but some of the fractures are quite wide and have stacked up some decent debris piles. One guess for the activity is a rain on snow event??
