Pulpit 1

Skied Pulpit 1 & small couloir SW of Pulpits. Observed old avy debris at bottom of couloir, suspect it slid on the crust, no crown lines visible. Some wind effect, but no slabs noted. Good coverage.

HS 100 AT 2180M, 1400h air temp -5.4, T10 -7.9 fist resistance 0.5-1mm facets/DF down to 83cm 4F/1F below, 0.5-1mm Bottom 10cm 2mm facets Compression tests broke at saw/ground CTH30, uneven breaks Supportive crust down 10-30cm HS ranging from 50-100cm Good coverage, we hit no rocks.
