Cain’s Crusty Closure

Skied Able South bowl and Cain west bowl over past two days. 2cm fluffy snow sits above very firm crust (no ski penetration and minimal boot penetration) above 1550m. Sun exposed slopes holding little to no snow even in the alpine. No snow at Cain parking lot. Plenty of pin wheeling occurred Sunday afternoon while the sun was out and refroze Sunday night.
