Wet and Heavy

Top layer of snow was wet and heavy. When digging out a sled there would be sugary facets underneath. Saw multiple snowballs from trees shedding. Can't pinpoint exact elevation that it was raining but it was raining at valley bottom at the turn to Matheson off the old Coal Creek Trail.
