Plewman/Darkside area

Small isolated pockets of freshly forming wind slab 15-20cm deep. Moderate SW winds with light to moderate blowing snow. Most wind slabs on NE-E aspects. Crossloading on S facing fullies near treeline. Sun crust on steeper S aspects. 2-4cm thick, breakable (not ski supportable). Most areas 20cm settled snow over rain crust from last weekend. Small surface hoar and faceting settled powder in open sheltered areas near treeline. Very light snow showers began around noon. Daytime accumulations of 2cm.
