Quick Observation

Classic north shore whiteout with warmish air and fresh snow, snowing throughout the day, got a bit icey precip around 2pm exiting the park.

Snowpack

That was the first failure ☝️CTE2 SC had three more down further... 37 degree slope, WNW asp Snowing on and off all day, winds light to moderate CTM 15 RP down 40 CTM 18 RP down 60 CTH 23 SP down 123 Couldnt see any naturals but that was due to poor visibility less than 100m. Set off a micro slide on a small slope with very little terouboe, S facing 35 ish degrees storm slab, ran 30ish feet before settling on the access road. Nothing dangerous but indicative of how squirrelly the snowpack is. That crust is a beast too, let's hope for Mr. Bond to do his magic, otherwise take er easy for the next little while, it will take a lot to break up all those danger zones in one of the spiciest snowpacks I've seen on the coast in the past 12 years of digging pits... Dont let the siren tempt you to steep terrain now, it just ain't worth it! Stay on flat terrain and bring a snow saw and some pals to make a fun snow fort, at least you'll be making something beautiful for mankind!
