Chester north couloir

While skiing down Chester N couloir we heard a small collapse above us while about halfway down. Several cornice chunks came down the couloir, ranging in size from very small up to the size of a mini-fridge. Entrained some surface snow. We both made it to safe zones so no involvement, however too close for comfort. Ski conditions were choppy/mixed bag…not very good. Cornice fall occurred at 1115am
