Over all a pretty chilly spring day with light to moderate winds from the NE and over cast - broken skies. No new avalanches were observed but there were a few older ones in the aluminum bowl from last weekends storm. Snow quality was good in sheltered areas but in open terrain it was heavily wind affected. Temperatures stayed around -6. Height of snow probed in the Aluminum bowl was 240cm. With a crust down 20-40cm this was thick and supportive.
