Narao left couloir

Went up to ski the left Narao couloir. Snow was incredible in the fan so we had high hopes, but as we got in the couloir it was obvious that it had previously slid and left behind a hard ice layer. We were able to find good snow on the climber’s right up to about 75m until we reached a point where the ice spanned the whole width of the couloir. This is where we turned around.
