Goat ridge / Banana Split

A ten to fifteen cm wind slab on goat ridge triggerd a size 2 to 3 avalanche in banana split run 20 meters under the ridge a part of the wind slab also slided towards Highway bowl in Goat leg left run. The avalanche layer was big blocks and went down until the bottom of banana split in Sognar bowl. We took the décision to go down under goat tail sub peak in the trees top layer was sluffing and heavy. The avalanche was triggered the day before by skiers who probably went down the goat leg left to Highway bowl.
