Quick report

Aspect
North
Red Flags
Rapid Warming
Elevation
2926 m

Snowpack ranged from 150-175 cm on northerly aspects from 8400-9600

Heavily suncupped on all but northern facing aspects. Trees are definitely our friend in the up and down.

Snow in N/NE trees was smooth and we found good corn at 10:30am, temps were low 50s at that point with light NW winds. Approach and exits are definitely getting more challenging

Instability Comment

Isothermic snowpack throughout snake creek, just normal caution needed on steeper slopes as daytime heating occurs.
