Yesterday morning (Wednesday, March 5), we skied the Silver Stairs run just before the current storm system rolled in. Everything went smoothly, but we did notice an old crown a couple hundred feet off the skiers' summit and on the skiers' right side of the run, which is one of the only places to ski right now.
Not sure if this could be a PWL hazard now that it's likely reloaded. No photo of the crown unfortunately, but a photo is shown for snow texture and conditions update (taken from beneath the crown).
