Middle Basin (45.32247, -111.3717), 8240’, E Aspect, 7Deg, 13:00. HS 125. ECTN30 @87cm ( 38 cm down) on NSF below a smaller crust and above a thicker ice crust. Similar layer to a fully propagating ECTP30 @45 cm down on facets/hard to find but there buried surface hoar. Propagation observed day before was energetic and planar. 20260221 pit was approx 45.3304, -111.38267, 9240’, E Aspect, 27deg, 14:00. Also of note wet loose problem was less concerning today than yesterday due to winds keeping snow surface cooler.
