Quick report

-Found nice riding conditions along groomed roads past the 7 mile jct. -Plenty of early season hazards still lurking below the snow surface kept things pretty mellow today. no signs of instability on our tour along stryker ridge. Low tide/early season conditions limited us to a few spots in old clear cuts in the immediate area.

Snowpack

snowpack depths varied from 70-95cm on E/NE aspects at 5300ft. Depths of 60-70 along westerly aspects. 20-25 cm of recent snow from the last few days sits on top of a stout rain crust formed during recent Atmosperic River events. We found a right side up snowpack below those crust layers with rounding grains. ECT on NE aspect at 5300' showed no propagating results.
