<p>Heavy wind loading from the west. Damp roller balls and wet sluffs below 6500ft. I am sure the wet activity is going to increase with the forecasted rain. </p>

Instability Comment
<p>Heavy wind loading on the ridges, natural cornice breaks.</p> <p>I was able to find the ice/facet layer down at 49 inches on a north protected slopes at 7000ft. It was very stubborn to move though. No activity after 20 wacks. Probably due to the heavy warm snow above. </p>

Damp, heavy snow below 6500t. Wind crust on the ridges and some nice creamy 'dry' powder in the 7000ft. range.
