The Sun came out this evening and we noticed a Massive avalanche that connected Upper Cherry Creek and Prader/ OxKiller Canyons. Measuring on the topo map the crown extended over two miles wide and could easily be seen with binoculars from 15 miles across the valley. We could not see any of the deposition zone but I can only imagine the destruction along the avalanche paths.
