Saturday's storm deposited 2-4" of snow in the upper Bear Rivers. For the most part, the new snow bonded well with the old snow interface. However, on steeper pitches (35+ degrees), it was easy to get push-a-lanches moving down slope with hard ski turns. We got a few things to run 100-200', entrapping more snow as they slowly ran downhill. The storm snow was dense and it wouldn't have taken much moving snow to get knocked over and carried. Spoke to other sledders in the TG area who also saw and triggered plenty of activity on similar slopes/aspects today.
