Quick report
Traveling today on the westside, low densisty snow was accumulating and being transported by strong winds. I was surprised by the amount of snow found on the roads and in protected areas at 2500 feet elevation. This was in stark contrast to driving north on Route 16 past Pinkham Notch where the only snow seen was from wind transport and blue skies briefly broke through.

In a protected area near the base of the Cog and again near the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trailhead, .5-1.5 inches of dry, low density snow was found. Snow was falling at approximately an S2 rate (~2cm/hr) and was moved by moderate to strong northwest winds.
