Cracking and collapsing NW facing wind features on the Rumford Whitecap ridgeline. We took a ~20º angle route on and off the summit to the NE. As soon as we were off the ridge, the snowpack stayed pretty shallow, and we saw no further instability in mire sheltered terrain. (Old Dog and NorEast) As we circled around below treeline, we found cracking on steep SE facing features below treeline. We finished off our tour with a descent in the trees to the SW and didn't find any instability on that aspect, but Nirvana and Next Glades were granite rich environments. It snowed most of the day, and changed over to sleet around 3 before changing back to snow. Winds were predominantly from the South East and built through the day.
