Clear, sunny, and warm. Temperatures climbed well above freezing, reaching 45 degrees F at 8,000 feet. Wind was calm and unnoticeable. However, high on Mount Shasta, snow transport could be seen, suggesting a stronger northerly wind.

Nothing has changed as of recent, in terms of snow structure. Shaded aspects are staying firm during the day, while solar aspects soften. The snowpack is settling, and dropping in depth. Ski tracks, skin tracks, and sled tracks are rising higher than surrounding snow, as soft surface snow melts.
