Signs of cracking within the snowpack often propagating on southeastern and eastern aspects. With mild wind there was no active loading present this morning. The observations we made today aligned with the forecast listed for today. With moderate force we were able to create a slide at the top of a wind loaded eastern slope propagating in 10’ sections.

Intentionally triggered when skinning along the ridge of an eastern slope at 5400’ this morning around 9:30.
