Quick report
We took a peek into the top of the Summer LH trail on our way down from a summit attempt. Lots of wind and blowing snow. The avy path looks heavily loaded with a fairly large wind slab and I observed a steadily thickening wind skin as I moved closer. As I approached, the wind affected snow got more and more supportive to the point where I was no longer able to punch through the upper layer, suggesting a stiffening and increasingly stubborn slab. From the amount of loading and clearly wind affected snow in the path we opted to descend the same way we came up, via the Winter LH trail.
