Quick report
During two Cog laps, skied as far down into Burt Ravine as I could while still being able to traverse back to the Cog without skinning. Tracklog here: https://www.strava.com/activities/10989106045 This was not very far of course, but in addition to being fun, I wanted to search out any signs of instability on NW aspects. I did not perform any tests, but as I was about to begin each traverse after each short section of skiing, I looked back up for any tell tale signs, and saw none. So seems like strong confirmation of the day’s bulletin stopping the wind slab problem at N, not continuing around the compass to NW. The snow conditions were definitely not scoured, and with better coverage since I was last there on this past Wednesday. So overall a nice combination!
