- <p>Skyline conditions were incredible today if you were in the trees. However, out in the open the wind has stripped most of the snow and deposited it on the east-facing and ENE-facing slopes. The cornices have grown a lot over the past 2 storms and there have been a lot of cornice failures.</p> <p>It is obvious that the skyline has had a lot of wind lately and it has fresh snow available for transport.</p> <p>Riding in the trees on low-angle terrain was terrific, with over-the-hood powder.</p>
