Quick report
Small loose dry avalanche was only sign of instability. Recent storm snow was 10"-12 and low density, but gaining strength throughout tour. No wind transport on Paola ridge or any other visible sites (Tunnel Ridge, small portion of Flathead Range). Light snow throughout day. Good stability. Skied slopes < 35 degrees. World class bushwhacking abounds below ~5200' on all aspects. GET SOME!

Small natural loose dry avalanche on east aspect (see picture). Estimate occurrence early morning 1/7. No one caught. Size 1.
