Observed no instabilities. ECTN 14 @25 cm depth. Non propagating results. 7000’ S aspect. Were surprised to see an alarmingly deep avalanche on S face of Link.

Estimated D2 persistent slab avalanche likely failing on facets above the crust. South face of Link Mtn. Did not observe any tracks in the vicinity of the crown. Crown depth appeared to be 3 feet or more. Note: this slide also reported in another obs on the same date. Looks to have released about 6500 ft.
