Small skiff of overnight. Arrived with temperatures above freezing, Throughout our tour, temperatures were at freezing or slightly above despite the rain turning to snow slightly above 5000’. Light precipitation compared to down the further towards the Flatheads, Only about 1cm accumulation during our tour.
Snowpack
Spring skiing conditions under 5000 feet with a gradual change to an unconsolidated winter snowpack over 6000’. Snow skied well above 5500’. Whumps experienced above 6000 feet in open non treed areas. Shallow snow pack experienced with weakness on facets: ECTP 6 @42cm down Q1. Elevation 6370 ft.
