Quick report

More widespread crust in the Summit area, but we were able to ride around nicely with the wind filling in old tracks. We kept our distance from any steep gulleys and wind loaded spots.

When we get more snow keep an eye out for the buried surface hoar.

Some wind lips broke of Courage recently.

Snowpack

Similar structure as Look Eyrie yesterday but with some surface hoar developing.

Surface hoar on top of a widespread sun crust, an ice layer about 20cm down all in one solid cohesive slab with our weak layer (facets) about 75cm down
