Quick report
Great day up on the glaciers and summits. Traveled from below treeline up to 5400ft. Stuck to mostly N and NE aspects which held great cold snow above 2000ft. Stability was very good. Test slopes on steep N aspects showed no results. Snowpack rightside up, well bonded. Not slabby at all. Dry cold surface powder. We built high confidence in north aspects and stepped out to steep terrain. We briefly ventured onto a SW aspect above 5000ft and did not like the snowpack structure, which was a 45cm hard slab with moist and punchy snow underneath. No danger signs observed.
