Quick report
Most of our new soft snow has been sitting above a solid wind crust. So far there has been little slabbing and decent bonding to this bed surface. Great way to check this is sticking a upside down ski pole and feel for any weak layers between the top and this crust. Hand pits are also a great way to assess bonding.

Clear mostly calm wind day
Snowpack
Starting up Triangle about 20-25cm of loose snow on top of a wind crust base layer. Above 6,000' that snow showed some signs of cohesion/slabbing but was resistant to movement.
Some sun thin crust on more southern aspects as we ascended.
