Wind drifted snow was 50cm deep in places and scoured down to old firm surfaces in others. Stability is deteriorating as new snow and wind are applied to old/weak layers in the snowpack.

We experienced wind drifted snow on lee aspects in the rolling features between Thompson Pass and Odessy. Avalanche was triggered from flat terrain and propagated out into unsupported terrain near a cornice.
