Quick report
We were able to gain College drainage with some route selection but overall the creek was passable. Flat light made it dangerous to travel on slopes or higher up the drainage so we turned around. It was difficult to see the ridgelines so it is possible that were was some wind slabs/recent avalanches we couldn't see. Out towards First Aid/Gunn Creek we were happy to see that the good snow survived the wind event and mainly just filled in old tracks. We were cautious of potential wind loaded areas but we saw no signs of instability outside of one old (within the last week) natural avalanche. Outside of this slide we were not able to get anything to move on test slopes. We were mainly keeping an eye out for how the recent wind event had on the area. We saw 1 avalanche on a cross loaded slope as we gained the ridge at first aid.

Clouds held over the Gulkana and College Drainage most of the day creating dangerous flat light. Sky cleared to the South later in the day. No precipitation and light wind.

For the most part snow was still soft on top. There was some wind effected snow at ridge lines or peaks but not widespread.
