- <p>Looks like the low probability, high consequence scenerio is not going away any time soon. Seams like you need a large trigger in just the right spot currently. Tests have been producing variable results showing how much spacial variability is out there. Mid-elevation, shady, and sheltered aspects still hanging in there south done just about everywhere. </p>
Mix bag of conditions out there. Settled powder, wind board, near surface facets and rime or "dew" crust.
