Quick report
No signs of recent avalanche activity on Wolf Peak or adjacent east facing ridges though the St Patty's day crust is certainly present in the snowpack 35-45cm down. Limited views of higher terrain from this limited trip does not convince me that this crust/facet combo is healed. Higher colder terrain such as I saw yesterday in Poison Creek likely contains a weaker, drier and less settled interface that will cause poroblems with additional load during the appraoching storm. Tow hat degree remains to be seen and depends largely on rate of snowfall and total SWE and wind loading.

Greenhousing warm and wind-less to 8,000'
Snowpack
Warm temps dampened surfaces to varying degrees on all aspects up to 8,000'. Crust/slab interface at this location seems more stable than elsewhere and may be gaining strength. Grains on the crust appear to be rounding with no propagation in two PSTs on that interface. Slab beneath (from 115cm to surface was pencil hard rounds.
