Cleared the Angle interval board: 23 Inches (58 cm), 4.1 inches SWE (Last cleared 3/4)
Dug @ 9000 feet, SW aspect. ECTN28 down 55cm below recent snow, failed on near surface facets.

Lots of wind affect. Snow surfaces range from soft powder in sheltered terrain to soft sastrugi, hard sastrugi, breakable wind crust, supportable windboard and lots of large drifts. Was very much like a typical day in the alpine at Togwotee. The ridge was heavily wind-affected and cornices continue to build.
One isolated collapse on west aspect around 9500 feet. Very limited cracking along ridge in wind stiffened slabs. Small cornice triggered windslab at the ridge (10,000 feet , NE) looked to be a few days old.Weather
