Partly Cloudy sky with convective showers coming and going. Previous wind transport with light wind transport at 12,000ft during the day.
Snowpack
The recent storm snow started getting cooked today on southerly facing terrain up to 12,000ft, with a cycle of small loose wet avalanches. No slab avalanche concerns were observed on southerly-facing slopes. The previous wind-loading into Red Lady Bowl appeared to be stubborn or unreactive. The primary layer of concern again showed up as small facets on northerly facing slopes that were buried around last Saturday 3/23.

Triggered two slab avalanches on NE-facing terrain into Red Lady Bowl. These avalanches ran on the 3/23 faceted interface. Crowns averaged between 45 and 50cm. One avalanche took a little push to get going, while the other initiated after a small collapse on the ridge occurred.
