Snow was wet, sticky up to 1,500ft. Gradually transitioned from wet pow to dry and cold from 1,500to 4k on all aspects, especially on north aspects. We appreciated whumpfing over low elevations on south facing aspects. Dug a pit at 2,500ft on north aspect. To see the reactivity of new snow on old facets . Snow depth: 150cm Hand hardness 150-105cm: 1F 105cm-100: 4F 110cm: K ECTP16 Test failed at 100cm. Broke cleanly and the block slide quickly off the surface.
