Quick report

took advantage of the clear weather to get more photos of recent avalanches. We dug a pit at 3200' W aspect and found the top ~45 cm of decomposing fragments and rounds was sitting on top of a facetted continental snowpack. Within the old facets there was a 1cm band of fist hard faceted melt forms 65cm down that seemed to be the weakest layer in our pit. PST 40/100 END at 65cm down. No results in ECT. CT15 sudden collapse on same layer 65cm down.
