Group of two splitboarders and one skier made it up to the peak of Manitoba, traveling mostly on the wind-stripped Southwest ridge. A pit was dug at 2680' in position 60.68218, -149.43128 on a 12 degree slope facing West (264T). CTN, ECTX, though soft layers (four-finger-hard) were observed 110cm below the surface, 20cm below a pencil-hard layer. (Additionally, the snowpack alternated between four-finger and one-finger hardness between 80 and 50cm below the surface. A small crack was observed at 60.68324, -149.42351, at approximately 3100'. Skiers and riders should be cautious below the treeline as there are several downed trees across the trail.
