Early season storm skiing

Early season conditions below 1900m. Saw shooting cracks up to 10m where ground cover was varied (boulder fields and shrubby ground cover) 90cm’s of snow at the pass with 30cm’s on top of fresh light (F,4F) snow. Gusty winds out of the west with a lot of visible spin drifts at ridge line. Heard some rock fall on Fairview and snow was supportive to ski travel all the way to the car. Bottom 50cm’s all facets and old crusts... Might be a tricky winter
