Quick report

Red Flags
Rapid Warming, Poor Snowpack Structure

9500' N. HS90-100cm.

Generally windy and balmy conditions observed today.

Observed wind transport even into trees that are usually sheltered.

Of note: rapid warming mid-day on high north sheltered terrain which has been previously holding cold snow.

I suspect that this warming will have consolidated the slab overlying the basal weakness.

Riding conditions have deteriorated in the terrain visited.
