Quick report
Upside down snowpack. Persistent weak layer(s) overlaid by wind slab with results in pits. While we got some ECTXs in pits we did see propagation (ECTP13, PST 40/100 END).
No red flags were observed. We got a few easy-moderate hand shears at mid elevations (2,700'-2,900') where new snow was behaving more like a slab over crusts, about 30cm down. This seemed relatively isolated.Weather

Overcast skies with trace amounts of graupel. Light winds, near freezing temps.
Snowpack
Overall poor structure in our snowpack and pits: upside down snowpack, most notably with depth hoar and basal facets at the bottom 12cm, with a knife-pencil hard crust above. Hard slabs (35 cm thick) were 1F to P/K hard sitting above this structure. 3000 ft, E/NE Aspect, 19 degree slope PST 40/100 End at 30cm, ECT X.
Avalanche
We were able to see the 1/19 Divide Ridge avalanche on our tour (see 1/20 forecaster ob for this avalanche).
