approx 50cm of new snow fell in the upper sardine creek area between 0000-0900 19FEB2024 snow heavily effected by wind in transport/relocation and consistency previously pronounced ravines in the area have been filled in and leeward terrain features have been severely loaded above 9000’ in this area the Eastern Sierra Engineer Stake (typically burnt orange in color and nest near summer improved/unimproved roads) has begun to be disguised by the snowpack… be leery of operating snow machines in/around these road edges as they are very fond of eating A-Arms and steering components
