After an exciting drive up and down the road, we settled for going for a short tour on archangel and the lower SE Ridge of Marmot. We traveled on mostly SE Aspects from 2100’ to 2600’. We noticed consistent cracking and collapsing (often rumbling and shaking willows up to 15 feet away). On transition, boot penetration was around 80cm. We observed a widespread 10- 15cm 1F to P hard slab on top of the previous F hard snow.
