Quick report

Accessed Humphreys Cirque via Rustler. Preserved cold snow on northward aspects, south/west facing with hard refrozen suncrust. To the exception of the Humphrey’s Ridge, most areas had a soft, non-reactive wind slab. North aspects in the core group had dry, soft snow. No cracking or signs of instability were noted. Exited the cirque by 1:30, at which time no wet, loose, or rollerballs were noted on south slopes above the treeline. Returning to the resort on south-west aspects below the treeline were melting quickly, with some rollerballs noted.
