Weather started off cold today rising to temperatures well over freezing at elevations up to 9700’. All snow areas with sun exposure had a 1/4” inch crust to 1” inch crust with surface hoar generalized on all aspects. Light coverage except for some wind pockets. Experienced collapsing/whoompf’ing on northerly aspects with significant shade throughout the day.
