- <p>The biggest concern in my mind was wet slabs. We haven't seen this type of avalanche just yet. However, with such a layered snowpack, I am curious to see if/when we will see wet slab avalanches. The snow on the north side was supportable in the afternoon, while the south side was becoming unsupportable. Cornice fall also remains a concern. </p>
I found the snow surface to be wet and damp on all aspects and elevations yesterday.
