Quick report
Mid/late afternoon tour up Mill D to PP3 to check out conditions and get some exercise.
Anything not very sheltered by trees or terrain had some sort of crust near surface. If west facing there was wind impact to snow; more at higher elevation. Some crusts made skiing final shot down to main Mill D exit through the tighter aspens "exciting".
On the PP3 saddle closest to West Desolation ridge there was sastrugi at ~9k ft from W wind. Pic looking into Bear Trap appx. from point on map.
