Wind Loading, Poor Snowpack Structure

In addition to cornices and wind loading on east and west aspects, I observed up to 2-3 feet of facets on shaded south aspects (crazy) where snowpack was thin.

<p>Wind loading on both east and west sides of the south ridge. Ranging from 1-8" deep on both sides. </p> <p>At the top of suicide chute, coming up the south ridge of superior, there are 2 cornices adjacent to each other. One facing east and one facing west. The one facing east is right at the entrance of the chute, the one facing west only visible when on the ridge just above. </p>
